Heavenly Treasure

Another Odyssey scene was released yesterday on the Odyssey scoopcast. Very exiting! It sounds really good. And there will be more exiting news coming out on the scoopcast soon. And just to let you know, I have no idea why font and size are different in some paragraphs.

I was listening to the episode, "Treasures of the Heart," where Donna asks her family the question, if your house was on fire but you knew the family was safe, And you could rescue only one thing before the house burned down, what would you rescue? I started thinking about this question for myself. I looked around my room to see what was irreplaceable. I was having trouble deciding between a few things, pictures, my model rocket, my teddy bear and some sentimental rocks. But I decided on these two.

1. The first thing that I thought I would grab is my teddy bear, this is a weird one but I have had this, well... ugly teddy bear since I was two. My mom says that when I first got him he was actually cute but now you can see for yourself, he isn't. I take him wherever I go. He has been literally everywhere I have been.
That orange spot on his leg is a nightlight burn.  His name is Cotton Rally, I have no explanation for it. Even if I found a teddy bear that looked exactly like he did when I first got him he couldn't be what he is today, which is ripped, flat, and burned.

2. The second thing that I would grab is my little rock things. (I don't know exactly what to call them) But it is something that my dad has been making for me for ten years now. He gathers rocks or sand from a place that we traveled to that year and a picture of me there and put the picture in the little clear box and then put the rocks on top of that. The one on the left is from 2001 at Crater Lake, and the one on the left is from Bald Rock around 2005. I now have ten of them in all.

I would love to hear you answer this question in the comments! Just remember that your real treasure is in heaven.
19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."  Matthew 6:19-21
